An insight on Neurodivergence in Education

About us and Our Aim

As students working on this global perspectives project, we desired to cover the area of neurodivergence in the educational sector, and how it often affects their ability to gain opportunites. Our aim is not only to promote awareness on the issue, but to educate society and allow these children to be able to strive to their full potential.

What is it?

Neurodivergence refers to a unique functionality of the brain. It includes some mental disordes like Autism, ADHD, or Down Syndrome.

How does it impact students?

Despite various developments of facilities regarding it, many issues still exist in terms of inequality and low maintenance.

What is the issue?

The problem that arises in society is how people seem to be aware of people with special needs, but are not able to understand the term "neurodivergence", as well as don't do anything to support them. Due to cultural propagandas and stereotypes, they are denied opporutnites.
